David and Corinne Maier met in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the late 90’s. Corinne grew up with a passion for primatology and the natural sciences, creating elaborate terrariums for her reptiles, researching habitats, even dreaming of one day studying gorillas. David’s soft spot for animal care was welcomed, and encouraged Corinne to create a lifestyle of tending God’s creatures. Though city folk at heart, they felt a pull to return to their roots and give homesteading a go. Since moving to their farm, they’ve successfully hatched chickens of various breeds, begun their business as Maine Coon breeders, and opened the door to poultry and rabbit harvesting. All while providing and caring for their ten children.
